Searching

The Wood Database is a collection of wood species information gathered from different sources, including (i) 200 wood species that are usually imported into Vietnam and (ii) 400 commercial timbers published by Dallwitz 1980; Dallwitz, Paine, and Zurcher 1993.

Wood identification history

WoodID is an application that enables wood species identification using artificial intelligence. The app connects to a 50x magnification microscope, captures images of the wood cross-sections, and then identifies the corresponding wood species along with related information.
